OZON - STRIPPER HEADER
The OZON stripper header designed for harvesting grain crops (wheat, barley, rye, oats, flax, oil flax) and grass seeds. It has worked well up in harvesting lodged and heavily clogged crops.
The main principle of the OZON header consists in removing grain from the head with stripping fingers mounted to the spinning rotor. In this case, the plant stem is captured by stripping fingers and stretches through the gap between them, but not cut off.
Grain under the action of inertia and air flow moves to Crop elevator, which feeds it into the threshing rotor of the combine.
The main element of the header is a stripping rotor with a diameter of 27.5 inches, which consists of 10 rows high-strength heat-treated steel fingers that run the all width of the header.
Due to the larger diameter of stripping rotor and the number of fingers rows, it is possible to achieve greater productivity with fewer revolutions of the rotor, thereby increasing the life time and stability of the header.
DRIVE SYSTEM
The rotor speed is changed by switching the gearbox. Overrunning clutch prevents damage of the drive mechanism. This simple drive system transmits power with maximum efficiency and minimal numbers moving parts.
